We have been busy over the last year developing a generous selection of new products, the latest range to be treated to a re-design and some reformulations is our popular range of freshwater test kits.  

Our popular Pond Lab Multi-Test Kit and the Aquarium Lab Multi-Test Kit have been treated to a full redesign.  These two popular multi-testing kits have been formulated to allow you to accurately monitor the quality of your water in your aquarium and/or pond. The key to successful fish keeping is understanding water chemistry and being able to maintain optimal water quality. These test kits allow you to do this by accurately reading; Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, pH (6-9), General Hardness and Carbonate Hardness.

In addition to the new look adopted by the Aquarium Lab and Pond Lab Multi-Test Kits, we have combined all of our individual test kits into a single range of products, which are suitable for indoor and outdoor water testing. These individual test kits share the same contemporary design language as the Multi-Test kits.  

We haven’t just redesigned the same formulations as we had before, after receiving valued feedback from our valued customers, we concluded that the previous pH 4-10 was not reading the levels that customers wanted. This product has now been discontinued and replaced with Broad pH Test (6-9) which reads pH levels in increments of 0.5. Alongside the Broad pH test kit, there is still the Narrow pH test kit which reads pH levels from 6 to 7.6 in increments of 0.2.

These test kits contain full instructions detailing optimum levels and suggestions for correction. As well as the colour charts, the back of the boxes also presents easy to follow step-by-step pictorial instructions. Colour coded stickers for the syringes and test tubes are also included in the multi-tests to ensure the same test is always carried out with the same equipment to avoid contamination.

Moving forward, the team at NT Labs are committed to finding sustainable materials for use in their packaging materials, the new and improved range of individual test kits is now packaged in smaller cartons (10% less cardboard than the previous Aquarium Lab and Pond Lab ranges), which are made from FSC certified paper printed using vegetable based inks. The bottles within the cartons are also widely recyclable. Also, as two ranges have been combined into one, this has helped efficiency, and will streamline production.

Available on a shelf near you soon, the Pond Lab Multi-Test Kit, and Aquarium Lab Multi-Test Kit both have an rrp of £33.99, and the individual test kits are available with an rrp of £7.99.
