NT Labs Optimus is a highly concentrated water conditioner and dechlorinator that removes chlorine, chloramine and detoxifies ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and heavy metals, helping to create a safe, healthy environment for koi and pond fish.

• Optimus converts toxic ammonia, nitrite and nitrate into a safer form that can be processed by your pond's biological filter. Regularly monitor your water quality using NT Labs Pond Test Kits to ensure optimal conditions for your fish.
• As a powerful dechlorinator and conditioner, Optimus instantly makes tap water safe by removing chlorine, chloramine and other harmful substances commonly found in mains water, while detoxifying heavy metals that can stress fish.
• Optimus should be used whenever setting up a new pond or filter, during every water change or top-up, and after adding tap water to your pond.
• For best results, use Optimus alongside Satus when establishing a new pond or biological filter. Together, they help control ammonia and nitrite while rapidly maturing the biofilter, reducing the risk of new pond syndrome. Optimus is pH buffered and will not adversely affect your pond's pH or filtration system.

How to use

• Shake well before use.
• Calculate your pond volume before dosing.
• Refer to the product label for the correct dosage.
• Dose for the full pond volume when setting up a new pond or treating existing water.
• During water changes or top-ups, add the correct amount to the new tap water before it enters the pond where possible.
• At water temperatures above 30°C and where chlorine and ammonia levels are low, a half dose may be sufficient.
• The standard dose can be doubled for water supplies containing exceptionally high chloramine levels.
• In emergencies, Optimus can be used at up to five times the standard dose to help detoxify nitrite.
• A slight sulphur odour is normal.
